Responsibilities:
- Perform blood sampling and phlebotomy procedures on patients - Follow aseptic techniques and maintain a sterile environment during blood collection - Label and process specimens for laboratory testing - Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and test results - Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort during procedures - Adhere to laboratory procedures and safety guidelines - Maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies and equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program - Certification as a phlebotomist - Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - Experience working in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting - Proficient in blood sampling techniques and ability to phlebotomize patients of all ages - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills You will also learn how to do Fingerprinting and Collecting for Urine Drug Screens at this in office job.
