Maintenance Helper

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Helper to join our team. As a Maintenance Helper, you will assist in the maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and Fueling generators, yard maintenance
Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Fabricate and install various components using hand and power tools
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external stakeholders
Requirements:
Some basic knowledge of maintenance
Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use various tools and equipment
Basic understanding of electrical systems, including wiring and circuitry
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is a plus
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 55 per week
