Systems Engineer Calibration

This position is for a Driver Assistance Technology (DAT) and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Attribute Engineer and focuses on ensuring features and/or AV perform so well that customers would never want to go back to life without them. You will develop and implement feature attribute requirements and specifications at the full-vehicle level and validate them according to the systems engineering model. As an Attribute Engineer, you will collaborate with research engineers, user experience teams, designers, hardware and software developers to define, develop, and verify the customer-facing attributes and performance capabilities for these advanced and autonomous systems. You will also develop new verification methods and work with vehicle, hardware-in-the-loop, model-in-the-loop and other advanced testing methodologies to validate your feature. Skills Required:

Data analysis with MATLAB/Python Experience Required:

year experience in developing features and/or attributes for vehicle systems (electrical, chassis, powertrain, vehicle dynamics, NVH), preferably in the Driver Assistance domain Experience Preferred:

years of experience in developing features and/or attributes for Driver Assistance systems using radars, cameras, LIDAR, and/or ultrasonic sensors Experience applying Systems Engineering Experience in authoring new requirements/specifications Troubleshooting experience with electromechanical systems Experience designing experiments to collect customer data and develop objective metrics that are correlated to subjective ratings Experience in verification techniques (design verification methods, data acquisition/analysis, hardware-in-the-loop) Project management experience Experience with virtual validation methods (HIL/MIL/SIL) Strong leadership skills, passion for quality, passion to improve customer satisfaction Good communications and project management skills Strong oral & written skills Ability to work both independently and take initiative when necessary Strong teamwork & interpersonal skills Education Required:
B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science) Education Preferred:
Masters in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science).
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & Engineering, Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
