Systems Engineering Senior
To design, develop, maintain and support Dev/Ops tools; Maintain a large Linux and Redhat server/OS support/environment and provide oncall
Responsibilities:
Handle late shift responsibilities and stagger work hours as required Strong Handson Unix Development experience using shell scripts and experience with programming languages to build necessary tools Skills Required:
Providing strong handson system dministration experience in large server environment :
Managing user accounts, sudo access, file system management, application installation, performance & tuning, troubleshooting and root cause analysis and so on. Candidate will work in a team with 10
senior Unix admins to support large number of Suse and Redhat servers with 24x7 oncall rotation and staggered work hours. Day-to-day operations will include troubleshooting, shadow sessions, script development, application package development and process documentation. Candidate might be asked to work and resolve request/ incident/problem tickets and resolve application and/or hardware related issues. This is purely a hands-on dev/ops position and requires both previous experience and willingness to learn new technologies Skills Preferred:
Previous experience with Github, Chef Habitat packages is preferred Previous experience with comparable devops tools as Tekton, Terraform, Jenkins, Chef, Habitat, Github, Rally, Confluence, Jira, Slack Experience Required:

years unix development/scripting and GUI experience with multiple languages:
Bash, Ruby, Perl, Python, TCL, Javascript, PHP, and markup languages and data interchange specifications:
HTML5, JSON, XML, and Web services to manipulate Web resources with focus on REST API and other API Development 5
years Suse and/or RedHat at a Senior Systems Admin level Must be able to demonstrate an Automation mindset and provide working examples where you have been a primary designer, developer and implementor. Experience Preferred:
Google cloud development and migration tools Suse Certification RedHat Certification hands-on experience with Container(s) Others:

years of experience as a developer using Google Cloud Platform (and related toolset) and/or Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms with necessary tools Strong understanding of Active Directory and DNS technology and operation 5
years of Operations experience at a large enterprise including ITIL processes Education Required:
Bachelors.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
