Position Description:
eDrive Electronics Hardware Core Engineer would be responsible for:
oConduct multi-functional activities in development of the requirements of the controllers for electric drive systems oReview circuit design/schematics/layout, EMI reduction, fault tolerance/protection/diagnostic, and ensure on time delivery oDevelop control circuit function verification method, conduct function verification test and troubleshooting oSupport Root Cause Analysis for field issues oSupport other function team's tests, such as Hardware-in-the-Loop Test, High Voltage Lab test, Motor Dyno Test, Vehicle Test, EMC test, etc.
oSupport Benchmark activities The minimum requirements we seek:
oMaster of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience o2
years of experience in Electrical and/or electronics design.

years of experience with simulation tools (e.
g.
Matlab, Pspice, Saber, etc.

oMaster of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics or related field o3
years of experience in Electrical and/or electronics design.

) oKnowledge of Microcontroller, Power Devices (e.
g.
MOSFET, Transistor, IGBT, SiC, etc.
), Logic IC, High side driver/Low side driver, and SMD passive components oExperience of Power electronics circuit design, such as SMPS design, Gate Drive Circuit design oKnowledge/experience of worst-case circuit analysis.
oKnowledge/experience of Power Inverters and motor control oKnowledge of DFMEA/DFSS and accelerated life test oKnowledge of G8D for Root Cause Analysis oKnowledge/experience with automotive electronics and EMC fundamentals oExcellent teamwork and communication skills oSelf-motivated with the ability to learn and manage multiple tasksSkills Required:
