Professional Summary The D2C Visual Merchandising & Space Planning Manager is a new role within Carhartt's Direct to Consumer channel that will be tasked with building and refining the visual merchandising & space planning capability.
This new function will look to operationalize the merchandising vision by developing, managing, and refining the necessary cross-functional processes, timelines, and connection points to knit together floor-set specific merchandising, marketing, and revenue strategies.
This critical activity will yield compelling product presentations that promote a positive consumer experience, maximizes business unit sales and profitability, and drives the operational playbook to guide store level execution and timing.
This leader will play a critical role in developing, shaping, and leading strategies across the Direct to Consumer channel by leveraging cross functional partnerships to ensure a holistic, one-ecosystem approach.
In addition, this individual will work with leaders across the Carhartt organization, through multiple divisions, to expand, leverage and translate Carhartt's consumer experience journey into a cohesive, one-brand, one-patch experience.

Responsibilities Coach, mentor and develop D2C visual merchandising team.
Budget and KPI Leadership:
Oversee team budget by ensuring accurate monthly/quarterly guidance and connect marketing actions/investments to brand leading outcomes/KPI's to drive continuous improvement and align with overall corporate performance.
Lead process to refine store fixture counts, related product capacities and placement in stores.
Map specific fixture and wall-bay locations for each property to drive downstream activities.
Maintain accurate fixture counts, capacities, and locations to support process continuity.
Develop and refine standards related to merchandise presentation, fold execution, SKU depth, styles/colors per fixture and productivity per floorset.
Leverage standards to drive coordination process and support store execution.
Partner with Merchandising, Data & Analytics & D2C leadership to refine and solidify assortment tiering strategy.
Partner with Director of Store Strategy & Experience to leverage defined tiering strategies to influence new store expansion and activation, fixture packages and capacities.
Leverage assortment tiering strategy to develop average store fixture map.
Link average store fixture maps to store specific fixture maps and partner with Director of Store Strategy & Experience to right size capacities to support consistency where applicable.
Partner with Merchandising and Marketing to solidify seasonal floorset timing and related calendars.
Leverage key dates to support process timing & action and downstream activities Build pre-season and in-season floorset coordination process to consist of strategy download meetings, floorset build, cross-functional review and store execution mapping.
Partner with Store Operations to develop store level mechanisms and toolsets to support floorset direction and execution.
Implement floorset coordination process to support seasonal investment and execution.
Create captivating and productive visual presentations that bring the product to life in stores, meet the consumer needs and achieve financial goals and KPIs.
Drive and manage process to ensure collaboration, timeliness, consistency, and clear & concise dissemination to Store Operations Improve and innovate processes, timelines, tools, and cross-functional connection points to accelerate functional impact.
Leverage cross-functional resources inclusive of field store leadership to further shape process.
Manage the annual budget for Visual Merchandising inclusive of store samples, mock store requirements, store level retention materials and travel.
Conduct store visits to review and evaluate standards and gather insights.
Remain aware of loss prevention, security, safety, and human resources policies and procedures that may influence go-froward strategies Keep abreast of digital and retail trends, understand industry evolution and advocate for continuous Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required Required Skills and Experience 5-7 years of Visual Merchandising, Space Planning, Merchandising, Marketing or Retail Operations experience; with 1-2 years of progressive leadership experienced preferred Demonstrated advanced retail store merchandising experience Strong balance of creative presentation skills and operational orientation Self-motivated with a high degree of independent decision-making ability Proven effective leadership and people management skills that contributes to a positive team environment Collaborative, team player with ability to challenge constructively Ability to schedule complex interrelated efforts and manage to critical deadlines and deliverables Excellent written and oral communication skills Organized and detail oriented with excellent problem solving, negotiating, and influencing abilities Strong understanding of trend and style that is reflective of the brand and core customer Working Conditions Office Environment Travel (25%) Remote location:
Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site.
Travel on-site is limited to special events.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
