How to Apply REQUIRE COVER LETTER - Expressing why you are a great fit for this role and how this aligns with your interests/career path Summary The University of Michigan-Dearborn is looking for a full time CRM Systems Analyst to join our CRM team within Information Technology Services.
This team builds and supports Salesforce functionality that enables students to apply for admission to our institution and also (as of August 2021) runs our new student portal, advising system, strategic communications, and our student-facing knowledge base, chatbot, and ticketing system to answer student questions.
Salesforce is a rapidly-growing tool across many industries, and this is a great opportunity to learn Salesforce skills and contribute to the University's strategic goals of student engagement and retention.
This role will require excellent collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure the University is leveraging the delivered functionality effectively.
This role will also aid in building and rolling out new functionality using the low-code Salesforce application development environment.
The CRM Systems Analysts work with Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and External Relations offices to build consensus with these groups, support and build solutions with an increased complexity, and understand the system dependencies when making changes.
The position has the possibility of working in a hybrid, flexible environment with 2-5 days a week working remotely, depending on employee preference.
Responsibilities Application Support (50%) Provide support for current CRM operations, functionality, and users Identify, troubleshoot, propose, and build fixes for issues Build and maintain relationships with power and end users Serve as a Salesforce Administrator Load data into systems at the request of stakeholders while maintaining a high level of data integrity Perform Tier 1 support for CRM Team tickets and issues Ensure CRM functionality is operational and sustainable Perform System Upgrades Participate in CRM operational groups Build consensus with Stakeholders on how to utilize existing functionality Application Build / Project Work (45%) Collaborate with the business and technical teams to build solutions and drive implementation Lead small projects and ensure successful completion Collaborate with stakeholders on Business Analysis Document processes and functionality Build consensus with stakeholders for new functionality Professional Development (5%) Learn and maintain Salesforce knowledge and skills to become a subject matter expert for our Salesforce instances Stay current with relevant industry updates Cross train within the CRM Team Mentor junior members of the CRM Team Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related analytical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent communication, analytical, logical, and problem solving skills High attention to detail Strong desire to learn new technical skills in a low code application development environment that utilizes drag-and-drop as well as configuration to create user applications Ability to work well independently and within a team Ability to effectively explain complex ideas to different audiences At least 2 years of Salesforce Administration experience Desired Qualifications Exposure to Salesforce Platform (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud/Community Cloud/Marketing Cloud) Exposure to Programming Languages (APEX) Exposure to ETL Tools (Informatica, Axiom) Exposure to Databases and/or Data Architecture Exposure to Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Demand Tools, OwnBackup Underfill Statement This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
