Description:
Support evaluating and engineering Analytics software for use in Ford's enterprise data centers.
Developing customized installation and support guides consistent with Ford IT security policy
Providing third level support regarding product related issues
Installing and Administrating shared environments built for the selected Analytics technologies
Developing new tools and processes to ensure effective use of installed platforms.
Experience Required:
6 or more years of progressive responsibilities in IT with 5 or more years of systems engineering or systems administration experience in a specific platform or technical discipline.
Demonstrated successful implementation of multiple systems engineering projects.
Experience Preferred:
In depth knowledge of Analytics and Business Intelligence concepts.
Experience in the selection, installation, configuration, and administration of Hadoop and/or Tableau.
On-Site resource (Dearborn, MI) required due to frequent interaction with other engineering, operations and development teams based in ITHQ, iTek and FMCC.
Occasional weekend and after-hours work required to implement software upgrades.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
