Job Description & Qualifications
Position Duties:
Calibration-Aftertreatment and Diagnostic Powertrain Calibration
Evaluate and assess vehicle attributes (performance, fuel economy, emissions, NVH) on vehicles and in engine dynamometer test cells
Modify vehicle and powertrain control calibrations to improve fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics
Conduct vehicle testing and development at remote locations in Arizona, Colorado, and Northern Canada
Design and conduct tests to validate engine and vehicle fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics
Calibration and development of leading edge aftertreatment technologies for PM, NOx, HC, and CO reduction for diesel powertrainsMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering; Electrical or Mechanical disciplines
3 or more years of professional Diesel Engine Calibration or Controls (software) Experience
Powertrain/Vehicle Calibration Experience
Diesel Aftertreatment (DOC, SCR, DPF) Experience
Experience with Calibration Tools including ETAS and/or ATI, and Matlab
Understanding of Emission Regulatory Requirements Worldwide
Strong statistical knowledge
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
