The role of the Product Developer I will be to coordinate and assist with the seasonal development of outerwear products. This role will work to execute the development process and will maintain the BOM/D&C; pages and PDMs for the category, as well as coordinate communication with Supply Chain and our vendors.
Collaborate with design to understand the men's tops design intention of each style as it relates to the designers vision, and style requirements.
Build and maintain BOMs for men's tops product in PDM system insuring designer's intention is accurately represented.
Gather, analyze and provide accurate information on PDM system, which results in efficient raw material purchasing and accurate costing.
Coordinate design communication to factory and sourcing for the development of prototypes.
Maintain exceptions reporting detailing out what components or decisions are delaying prototype development.
Evaluate prototype to PDM and communicate findings to Design, TD, CM and Sourcing.
Participate in vendor evaluations with Design, TD and Sourcing team.
Reports, BOM's and PDM's will be 100% accurate and completed on or before deadline.
Communication and coordination between internal and external partners will be timely and executed with excellence.
Product timeline/calendar is managed effectively and all deadlines are met.
Product design intention meets the designer's vision through efficient collaboration and communication.
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Apparel/Textile Design, Merchandising, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field and/or equivalent years of experience required.
0-2 years' experience in apparel or textile experience required.
0-2 years' experience in Product Development or related role within a medium or large size company, preferably in the outdoor industry required.
Strong computer skills (MS Suite, Adobe, Illustrator, WebPDM).
Knowledge of apparel construction, material construction and properties, costing, embroidery and screen-printing.
Experience in Development in a medium or large size company, preferably in the outdoor industry.
Knowledge of the outerwear product category.
Successful project management skills and knowledge of the product cycle and product development timelines.
Strong knowledge of materials used to build apparel products.
Knowledge of the engineering and manufacturing processes used to build apparel products.
Knowledge of specifications management and product costing (as applicable).
Strong understanding of CAD drawing skills for technical and construction detail sketches and related art.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management and retail partners.
Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail.
Typical office environment; cubicle/office setting. Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required.
Light lifting may be required. 10LBS
Willing to work some weekends if necessary.
National and International travel required (up to 15%).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
