Define solution approach (Stress Analysis, Structural Integrity, Safety Assessments), including domain definition for engineering problems
Review the work of other analysts using standards and specifications as criteria.
Perform analyses and debug
Develop new analysis acceptance criteria and best practice documentation as new techniques are developed.
Make technical recommendations based on engineering judgment and interpretation of analysis results.
Interface with internal and customer technical points of contact throughout the duration of the assigned tasks
Make technical recommendations based on engineering judgment.
Create Technical Documentation
Continuously improve technical and procedural tools, work instructions, etc. to ensure repeatability
Follow all regulatory and company procedures, including thorough recording of all work to ensure task traceability

Qualifications
2 - 5 years experience in the Structural Analysis or Stress Engineering service in automotive domain, crash simulation and impact analysis strongly preferred
MS or higher in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency with FEA required
Proficiency
with LS-DYNA required
Exposure to the Automotive industry required
Understanding of Programming Logic required, to create macros and sub-routines
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel, required
Project Management experience is a plus

Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
