IT Project Manager

Must have a thorough understanding of Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with the lifecycle of technology projects, be well versed in managing diverse teams including vendors, and leading through influence. Strong business and project acumen.
Will communicate with Director level and above regarding requirements and status of specific projects. Evaluates situations/options independently and makes decisions on matters within scope of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Document project scope(s) and objective(s), assemble team(s), assign responsibilities & develop schedule to ensure timely completion of project(s)
Develop project plan templates including milestones, dependencies, deliverables, schedules and tasks for complex projects.
Coordinate/facilitate requirement sessions and status meetings with senior leadership and draft and disseminate notes.
Monitor/Track project progress.
Document and manage:
Roles & Responsibilities, Communication Plan, Risk Register, Issues Tracker, Decision Log, KPIs, Budget etc.
Effectively communicate project status.
Escalate and document corrective actions plans as necessary
Maintain Project Record and use / reinforce use of standard PMO processes and procedures
Requirements
5
years' experience in IT Project Management (Healthcare experience is a plus).
Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent in demonstrable work experience desired
ITIL Certification is a plus
Bachelor Degree in Related Field or equivalent in demonstrable work experience/training.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively managing cross-functional teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with MS Project & SharePoint (O-365 is a plus)
Strong understanding of business process and technology
